Camping at Lake Tahoe

On our 4-week road trip across the western United States, Lake Tahoe was our first destination after departing from San Francisco.
We stayed at the Meeks Bay Resort with our RV. It is located directly at the lake at Emerald Bay. When we arrived it was already the down season so we managed to get a space for our RV with full hookup for only $30 a night. It was one of my favorite campgrounds we stayed at during the four weeks.

How to Save Money for Your Travel Plans

money in multiple currencies

One question that I get asked a lot is how I could afford to travel during school and my apprenticeship without earning a huge salary. It’s actually a lot easier than you might think. Consistency is key.

No matter how you want to travel, it’s cheaper than you think but it probably isn’t free. Some money will be required to get you going.

Get Your PADI Diving Certification in Thailand

If you are ever traveling to Thailand you might consider going scuba diving. If you have never done any kind of diving before, this is the perfect place to get your PADI Open Water certification. Even if you’re not traveling to Thailand you should probably give scuba diving a try. About 71% of our planet is covered in water and you are missing out big time if you never discover the world below. There is nothing like your first breath under water. And if you travel solo, I HIGHLY recommend scuba diving because you can’t dive alone

New Beginnings

Being Foreign Travel Blog

Over the past years I’ve been blogging on and off. Unfortunately more off than on. I blogged in many places and went from a personal blog to a technology blog to what became a travel blog in the end. I switched blog and blogging platform more than I change my underwear. My travel blog was available under and I mostly posted travel videos over there.

USA Road Trip: Las Vegas with Kids

Las Vegas was our longest stay during our south-western USA road trip. We stayed there for four nights on the Circus Circus RV park that I already mentioned in the previous post. When we were in Vegas I was 19, almost 20 years old but still too young for a lot of activities in Las Vegas. And we had 2 4-year olds with us so this post will be dedicated to kid-friendly activities since I didn’t see much of the 21+ stuff in Vegas :(. So, here we go. Things you can do in Las Vegas with kids
